News reaching us now have it that Dangote’s Son In-law and the son of a former inspector general of Police, Jamil Abubakar has just recently welcomed a baby with a Lady named Irene Nwachukwu.
Sources reveal that the just wedded pilot has allegedly refused to take responsibilities for the little boy who really resembles him.

Story had it that, Irene and Mr Jay met and started an affair around 2015 and had been intimate on several occasions which led to her being pregnant in August 2017. He then asked her to have an abortion and allegedly offered her over a million naira but she refused the money. Insiders say his reasons for not wanting the baby was that it’s a taboo to have a child out of wedlock in his religion and his family would never accept.

The source says;
”He made it clear that he can never be married to her,But she refused getting rid of the pregnancy and informed him she could not take an innocent life. This resulted to a big fight between them, and he abandoned her to cater for the pregnancy alone.”

Sources revealed that they both settled the dispute and were in good terms until January when he started denying paternity of the baby after they both had a fight, he told her he was moving on with his life and can’t continue with whatever they had going on. ”

She told him she was ready to do a DNA test to prove he’s the father of her unborn child but instead he accused her of wanting to trap him with a baby.
Saying she and the baby is an embarrassment to him and he’ll never be involved. He eventually blocked all access to him making it difficult to reach him”.

It was found out that in February this year she got a lawyer and filled a lawsuit against him because she feared for her safety and could barely cater for the pregnancy alone.

A meeting was then held in her lawyers office with him being present, where they settled for him Providing money for upkeep and hospital bills pending when DNA is done so he can take full responsibility of the baby.which he complied with but later went against and has not seen his child since she put to bed in April
Sources also reveal that Irene who lost her Job because she has been in hiding (after armed men attacked her and punched her severally in the stomach until she bled a bucketful ) has been trying to get her baby daddy to send money for the upkeep of his look alike son but he has entered voice mail and she is left distraught and helpless……

The abandoned baby mama is allegedly presently planning to head to the courts to sue her baby daddy (who recently tied the knot) for impregnating and abandoning her and leaving the baby to suffer.

Photos: Why man killed his fiancée and deposited her body in a bin in Lagos state

The man who murdered his fiancee and deposited her corpse in a bin in Oshodi, Lagos, is believed to have killed her because another man picked her call while he was away on a journey.

Isaiah Chukwu, 35, a spare parts dealer in Ladipo, Oshodi, lived with his 26-year-old lover, identified only as Joy, in a house on Balogun Street, Oshodi. Though not married, Chukwu and Joy, both indigenes of Ebonyi State, had been living together for the past two years.

All seemed smooth in their relationship until Chukwu traveled, then called Joy on the phone, only to hear another man’s voice. He concluded Joy was cheating on him and when he returned to Lagos, he stabbed her in the back. He then declared her missing.

However, he ran out of luck when he tried disposing of the body and was caught by youths in the neighborhood.

To dispose of the body, Chukwu stuffed his victim into a bin with her legs tied, then he put the bin in a sack and knotted the top.

At about 4am on Monday, he dragged the sack containing the body to go dump it but as he got to the ground floor of the house he was accosted by some youths. The suspicious youths asked what the content of the sack was but the suspect ignored them.  An Islamic cleric passing by then opened the sack and found the corpse. At this, the mob pounced on the suspect and beat him to a pulp.

Residents who spoke to Punch Metro on Tuesday said they were shocked because the couple lived together peacefully. Friends of the deceased said Joy adored Chukwu and spoke fondly of him.

A friend of the deceased said:

They don’t fight. In fact, people always envied their relationship. The woman could be doing something and immediately she heard that he was around, she would leave it and say, ‘My oga don come. My darling don come.’ I never believed this could happen.

A police source told Punch that Joy was stabbed in the back.

We recovered a knife which he used for the crime and four mobile phones from the house. Although investigations are ongoing, we suspect it had to do with suspicion of infidelity.

The man said he had called her when he travelled and a man picked the call. He said the man queried him (Chukwu) for disturbing his wife.

Narrating what happened, the suspect said:

I travelled on Thursday to attend a burial in Abraka, Delta State. I left Abraka the following day for my hometown in Ebonyi State. I called my wife around 11pm to know how she was faring. We exchanged pleasantries.

Around 11.45pm, I called again, but she did not pick her calls. I called about 10 times, but she did not pick. Then I heard a man’s voice.

On Monday (after he returned), as I was going to take my bath, I saw the corpse.

A sibling of the victim broke down in tears at the Akinpelu Police Station upon hearing the news of Joy’s death. As a result, the sibling couldn’t speak to the police but her husband spoke on her behalf.

He said:

They were not married, although he has visited her family members in the village. They have been living together for the past two years without formalising their marriage. He rented that apartment for her, while he stayed with his brothers in another house. He used to go to meet her at her apartment.

She (Joy) had come to see my wife about a week ago to say that she was no longer interested in the relationship. But the man said he could not let go because of the money he had spent on her. My wife counselled her to consider him and she said she would think about it before this incident happened.

For the first time in the United States voters have chosen a black woman as nominee for state governor after Stacey Abrams was declared victorious in Georgia’s Democratic primary on Tuesday.

Abrams – a former state House minority leader and progressive who earned support from both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders beat Stacey Evans, also a former state representative, reports The Guardian .
The result was among the most consequential in a series of primaries that brought successes for female candidates across the country ahead of the 2018 midterm elections .

Abrams will attempt to make history as both America’s first black female governor and the first woman to hold the position in Georgia.

The Republican primary, which was largely contested among a group of white men , looked headed for a run – off as neither of the candidates secured a majority of the vote.

Abram’s victory came hours after Amy McGrath, a retired Marine fighter pilot defeated the Democratic party’s establishment candidate in the primary race for a House seat in Kentucky.

She is an idigine of Ogbunike, Anambra State, Nigeria. She is currently married without any scandal and her marriage is blessed with four beautiful Children. After her primary and secondary education Ngozi Ezeonu obtained a Diploma Degree in Journalism.

The Veteran Nollywood actress keeps on slaying despite her age. She can surely give her younger colleagues in the movie industry a run for their money when it comes to slaying.

Outside Joke silva-Jacobs she is my favorite, both veteran Nollywood actresses have this ability of playing different roles perfectly in Nollywood, beside am yet to come across any negative rumours about them and their matrimonial homes.

Once again happy Birthday ma’am!

Here’s the next thing I want to address. Most of the people who know me will tell you that I have a heart of gold and maybe that’s why God never stops blessing me. This woman (you know who…lol) has been trolling me for years and calling me all sorts of unprintable names which I have never responded to. But when she cried out for help last year, despite the abuses I’ve gotten from her, I sent money to her account. I harbor no hate for anyone, no matter what. And I swear I would have sent more money to her if people around me hadn’t stopped me. I just felt pity for her that she was languishing in prison and no one to help her. And not only did I send money (which I did privately and she made public), I called a few people I know to see what they could do to help bring her out of prison. No matter what, she is a woman, and I am all about women supporting women.

She wrote that I am wearing a prosthetic baby bump…lol. Like I could get away with that in Nigeria? And some folks actually believe it…lol. If I couldn’t have a child, I would proudly adopt. Proudly. I love children so much. But fortunately, God blessed me with a womb to carry my own child.
I was just hiding the baby bump until I got to my second trimester before letting you amazing people know. I could have continued hiding it to be honest but I just couldn’t keep calm…lol. I’ve had the easiest pregnancy with no swelling and no issues and I thank God.

Lastly, here’s something I want to say to everyone. I remember when I bought my house in Banana Island in 2015, many didn’t believe it. In fact one tweet said ‘If you believe that Linda Ikeji owns a home in Banana Island, I seriously doubt your higher institution certificate’. That’s how much they doubted God’s blessings…lol

Very Ambitious Meghan Markle “told friend she wanted to be president one day”

$

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is said to have told a former close associate that her ultimate ambition is to be president of the U.S.

The conversation apparently took place after Meghan began her romance with Prince Harry.

“Meghan was quite clear that she wanted to be president one day,” the source claims.

Meghan has held the ambition since she was a little girl. In 2015, she reportedly told journalist Piers Morgan that she had not always sought showbusiness success.

“As a kid, I wanted to be either the president or a news broadcaster like you,” she told Piers.

Speaking of Meghan’s political ambitions, Sebastian Shakespeare wrote for Dailymail:

Meghan is still a U.S. citizen. She isn’t a full-fledged British citizen yet because the process is expected to take three years. She is expected to retain her U.S. citizenship, as dual citizenship is permitted. Presidential candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Meghan has cultivated a warm friendship with former U.S. president Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, while chat show host Oprah Winfrey, who is one of the most influential women in America, was given a prime seat at St George’s Chapel Windsor, opposite the Royal Family.

A royal historian says Meghan would find it difficult to enter U.S. politics while still married to Harry.

“It is a pretty strong rule that members of the Royal Family keep out of politics,” he says.

But Harry could, of course, give up official royal duties. His mother, Princess Diana, was said to have considered moving to America.

And the claim appears to have caused consternation at Kensington Palace yesterday, with the Duchess giving her official spokesman permission to take the unusual step of issuing a public denial.

“This conversation you describe with an associate is fictitious,” the spokesman insisted.

I am, though, not the only one to hear rumours that Meghan still holds political ambitions.

Former Times editor Sir Simon Jenkins says:

Her friends and associates affirm that she is a political animal. Such is her fame, she could perfectly well follow a route taken by a certain Ronald Reagan. She might lead for the Democrats against a Republican Ivanka Trump. All I can say is, why not?

Meghan’s best friend is Jessica Mulroney, whose father-in-law, Brian, was prime minister of Canada for nine years.

Meghan has strong political views and attacked Donald Trump in 2016 for being “divisive” and “misogynistic”. She might have to reach an accommodation with her new chum George Clooney, who is said to hold political ambitions of his own. Perhaps he could be her running mate.

Federal judge rules that President Trump is in violation of the Constitution when he blocks users on Twitter

On Wednesday, a federal judge in New York ruled that President Trump is in violation of the Constitution when he blocks users on Twitter.

In her ruling, Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald wrote that “no government official including the President is above the law, and all government officials are presumed to follow the law as has been declared. We hold that portions of the @realDonaldTrump account the ‘interactive space’ where Twitter users may directly engage with the content of the President’s tweets are properly analyzed under the “‘public forum’ doctrines set forth by the Supreme Court, that such space is a designated public forum, and that the blocking of the plaintiffs based on their political speech constitutes viewpoint discrimination that violates the First Amendment”.

The Knight Institute, which filed the suit on behalf of several individuals who have been blocked by Trump, applauded the decision saying “we’re pleased with the court’s decision, which reflects a careful application of core First Amendment principles to government censorship on a new communications platform. The President’s practice of blocking critics on Twitter is pernicious and unconstitutional, and we hope this ruling will bring it to an end.”

The Justice Department defended Trump’s Twitter activity, contending that muting is within the president’s “associational freedoms.” He may be president, the DOJ argued, but Trump still maintains a right to decide who he spends time with on the social media platform.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders and former White House communications director Hope Hicks, both of whom were named in the suit, were dismissed as defendants. A Justice Department spokeswoman said “We respectfully disagree with the court’s decision and are considering our next steps.”

Who Is Slimcase? |Biography Of Slimcase|Profile Of Slimcase|History Of Slimcase| Meet Nigerian Singer Oluwafemi Oladapo Oko-Eko, Aka Slimcase

Slimcase stumbled upon the art by chance in 2011. His friend, who he refers to as ‘Beat by Sars’, (not to be confused with Sarz on the beat’), was the first person to ever record his vocals for a song in Akoka, in a dingy studio near the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG). (MDL Studios)

Slimcase, born Oluwafemi Oladapo Oko-Eko, on August 21, 1985, grew up in Ikorodu, a place on the fringes of life in Lagos state. He was schooled and raised by the streets, where he honed his talent as a comedian. At the start of his career, music was a distant dream, one that he had never considered. He was a funny guy, who had designs to cash in on that. And so he began, performing for friends, family members, and the odd social gathering. But music found him.

VIDEO:

“I loved his productions, and without voicing to the beats, I had the urge to be a musician. His beat was so banging, that I wanted to record on it,” he says

His friend encouraged him, choosing to tell him that “with this your style, you can just put something on the beat.” Slimcase started recording as a rapper, due to his early Hip-hop influences, where he followed records made by luminaries such as Eminem, Snoop Dog, 50 Cent and Dr Dre and others.

Oshozondi, Discovering The Shaku Shaku Sound, And Prominence

Back in 2017, Nigeria welcomed a relatively new artist by the name of Small Doctor. The singer was announced by his street record, ‘Penalty’, which found a way to cross into mainstream recognition, and accelerated his brand.

Small Doctor made music with a very interesting sound, which was rooted firmly in South African House, but with lesser emphasis on percussion, and more on intrusive drum breaks. ‘Penalty’ shot the singer to prominence, where his stock grew meteorically. By the end of the year, it would feature as one of 2017’s top record.

Street Life And The Originality Of The ‘Lamba’

I ask Slimcase about the intricacies and dynamic of street music, and he pauses for a while. Deep in thought for a minute, I witness his little conflict of emotion but don’t interrupt it. How can you ask a man to explain his ecosystem, and not wait for him to collect himself?

Slimcase finally reached an agreement with himself, raised his head, cleared his throat, and shared it with me.

“The hustle is real. The hustle is so real that you cannot fake in the street. It’s either you are in the street or you are not in the street at all. You have to go to the street, to write a street song. You can’t sit in Lekki and write a street song. You have to go to the den, and sit down in the den. Even if you don’t join them in their acts, you have to be there,” he says.

He explains that the best comedians and creatives in Nigeria are grilled and manufactured by the streets. He explains how ‘real’ the street is, and how everyday life and slangs (which he refers to as ‘Lambas’) can be turned into elements of pop culture. Slimcase also explains that street artists are primarily inspired by Fuji music.

“Most of them hardly listen to Hip-hop, and if they do, they can’t relate to it. That’s why they created their own language and their music. The lamba is what they understand,” he says.

Slimcase further explains that due to the poverty and lack of street exposure, the original elements of the street are hijacked and appropriated by pop musicians who have a larger following, and bigger platforms. He declines to mention any specific name, but explains:

“These celebrities can’t come to the streets and identify with people because of who they are. Most of them go on Instagram, and also watch Youtube videos. They will gather ideas from these things and create their records,” he explains.
VIDEO :

A post shared by OTUNBA LAMBA (@iam_slimcase) on

Slimcase says the lack of censorship and the crudity of the street ‘Lamba’ has been a hindrance in the export of the music to mainstream audiences via radio and TV. This creates a barrier, which is exploited by pop artists.

“They take these songs clean them, and release it as their own. It has also happened to me,” he says.

The way forward for him, is for street artists to practice self-censorship to end this practice.

The Future Of Shaku Shaku

Slimcase is dreaming big. He isn’t limiting the Shaku Shaku sound to just Nigeria or Africa. He believes that he can champion this genre, and export it across the oceans, down to American pop markets.

“You know what I see? I see Nicki Minaj and Beyonce dancing Shaku Shaku, and I’m there in their middle, teaching them the dance,” he says. “My vision is to take the song and sound to the world, make records, and have my name stamped on it.

“I’ll keep doing it until I knock the door of Beyonce, someday, or Usher Raymond dancing to a song that we have collaborated on.”

To wrap up the interview, he grabs a phone, and proceeds to perform a min-skit, starting with his alter-ego name ‘Saint Sami Ganja’, and speaking in Lambas and Yoruba. As we conclude, he asks for a photo, and whisper into my ears, “This is just the starting point.”

I believe him.

The newly signed artist is known for his single “Omo Shepeteri”  and has hits songs like Shepeteri Ft. Slimcase, Owanle, Baller Freestyle, Abracadabra featuring C black, DJ Niyor and Abram soul and Eko ft Danagog to his credit.

This makes him the sixth addition to the ever growing family that houses Davido, Mayorkun, Dremo, Peruzzi and Yonda, with Ichaba remaining an affiliate.

With the group compilation album scheduled to be released next month, Idowest is expected to bring his street flavour to some of the joints.

Here are five things you need to know about DMW’s latest signing, Idowest.

1. His real name is Adekunle Idowu

Adekunle Idowu is more popularly known by his stage name Idowest (Twitter/Idowest)

The name Idowest was carved out of his original name Idowu, which is a Yoruba name for someone born after a set of twins.

He represents the Lagos Island area of Lagos State.

2. Idowest refers to himself as the King of Shaku Shaku:

The shaku shaku vibe is one hit that gained mainstream acceptance last year with acts like Idowest, Slimcase, Mr Real and even Skales laying claim to being progenitors of the wave.

But the rapper who has been on his grind for quite a while now, claims that he was introduced to shaku shaku from his secondary school days and has been making the type of sound since then.

In his words, ”I have been doing Shaku shaku before the vibe even came up, that’s why people call me Idowest, Aro Mafia aka the King of Shaku Shaku”.

3. Idowest has been signed to three labels in two years

On June 15, 2017, the young rapper signed with P4 Music, owned by a Mr Sodiq, but following his return from being cleared of all charges leveled against him in the US, Dammy Kranerevived his label, Worldstar Inc and on December 15 2017, he announced his first signing in the person of Idowest.

Following the official announcement by Davido, Idowest has now gotten signed to three labels, perhaps as a pointer to the talent that he possess.

4. He was a former member of the M.A.F.I.A gang

Idowest has grown his art steadily over the past couple of years, from getting attention with his single Eko alongside former HKN member Danagog to his ground-breaking single, Omo Shepeteri which featured Dammy Krane and Slimcase released late last year.
