Education Background
He attended the Methodist school at Surulere Lagos Nigeria for part of his basic education, Lagos, following this, he relocated to another state in Nigeria: Oyo state where he attended Nawarudeen Primary School Ikire.
He later proceeded to The Seventh Day Adventist Secondary School, located in Ede, which was also part of the Old Oyo state, and later progressed to Muslim Grammar School, in Ede.
After his secondary education, he left Nigeria in order to study Criminology at the Jacksonville State University located in Alabama, United States.
Political Career & Profile
Although death is an unpleasant and inevitable factor, yet this was what brought Adeleke into the political scene. Initially, Adeleke was not really known in the world of politics until the death of his elder brother Isiaka Adeleke who died on the 23rd of April 2017.
The late senator Isiaka Adeleke truly lived a good life full of great achievements. The life of Isiaka Adeleke was one worthy of emulation as it testifies of selfless and patriotic service to the people.
Without doubts, he was one of the best politicians Nigeria has ever produced. Even after his death, his ways and works still speak for him.
As it is the norm, there was the need for Isiaka to be replaced in the Senate and this was what brought Adeleke into the world of politics. Adeleke amazingly won the bye-elections. He won a total of nine local governments out of ten in the Senatorial district, having 97,280.
He acknowledged his late brother as the major reason for his victory, of whom he said, he did 70 percent of the election campaign with his “historical goodwill”. In his political sphere, the late Isiaka was often referred to as Serubawon.
Before going into the political scene, Adeleke was the executive director of Pacific Holdings Limited from 2001 through to the year 2016.
Adeleke sent a write up to the political party PDP In April stating his aims to run for the position of the Executive Governor of Osun State on the platform of the well-known party. Meanwhile, his late brother also had intentions of running for this position before he died.
Adeleke claimed that he sought God’s direction for 40 days while praying and fasting with his family members before making known his political intentions.
He said,
“During this period of the 40 days of prayers and fasting, we the Adeleke’s made a covenant with God that we shall alleviate the suffering of the people of Osun.”

one of the major things that made senator Adeleke a very popular personality is his ability to make hilarious dancing moves whenever there is a need for it, however, this earned him the name dancing senator.
He said:
I got this nickname when i made a victory dance after winning the senatorial seat.
Adeleke explained in an interview that his reason for dancing is to brighten up political campaigns and to exercise his body. He also stated that he is the one who trained Davido and his children on how to dance.
