This tragedy drama revolves around 2 families and the effects of ignorance towards the Sickle Cell disease: The Marinho’s and the De Souza’s are related; the Marinho’s live in the city while the De Souza’s live in the remote village.
When a string of death begins to occur in the family of Da Souza, they are likened to spiritual attacks from an unknown woman by Mrs. Marinho who is an evangelist, while Mrs. Da Souza believes her husband used them to make money after the death of their son, Bosun, he suddenly becomes rich.
The revelation of the family’ status is revealed after Tayo, Mrs Marinho’s relative is involved in an accident and blood transfusion is needed. At this revelation, Mrs. Marinho apologizes for blaming her as the source of ill luck that had befallen the family. This program comes with the sadness and stigmatization that follows certain occurrences people don’t understand.
