Photos: Inside The Prison Where Bill Cosby Is Expected To Serve His Sentence
Bill Cosby is expected to spend the next three to 10 years of his life in a new $400million Pennsylvania state prison while serving out his sentence for drugging and molesting a woman more than a decade ago.
The comedian, 81, was sentenced Tuesday after his April conviction for having drugged and sexually assaulted Andrea Constand, a former Temple University women’s basketball administrator, in 2004.
Cosby is expected to serve out his sentence at SCI Phoenix in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
The prison is brand new, and said to be state of the art.
SCI Phoenix is a maximum security, 3,830-bed, handicap-accessible, state-of-the-art prison which began operating earlier this year.
The $400million prison is staffed by 1,200 full-time employees and features 164 acreage inside its double ring of razor wire fences and a 1.5mile perimeter.
The cells have bunk beds and storage lockers, as well as a stainless steel toilet and sink combo and a small desk and stool.
Unlike older prisons, SCI Phoenix’s manual key locks have been replaced with electronic cell doors monitored from a central location.
Immediately after his sentencing, Cosby was escorted from the courthouse and into a dark SUV before being taken to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Controversial On-Air Personality (OAP), Daddy Freeze has cried out over his poor financial status since he began to preach against payment of tithes in churches.
Freeze writing on his Twitter Page said that his campaign against tithe has crumbled his finances and affected his career.
According to him, since his ‘Free The Sheeple’ movement began, he had lost businesses, clients and opportunities.
The staunch ‘church’ critic said, ‘‘From my experience with these people who stop at nothing, if you dare speak out against the lies many of them are telling, you are in for a lot.
”They fought me on every realm. I lost every business client, I used to MC a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 events monthly and I used to charge more than a million Naira per event. I haven’t MCed in 2 years.

Air Plane Crash: Muhammadu Buhari mourns dead pilot, as his team visit the injured one
The Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and others have visited the injured pilot of the Air Force fighter jet which crashed on Katampe hill earlier today. .
They visited him at the Defence Intelligent Agency (DIA) Hospital in Abuja, where he is said to be responding to treatment. .
Meanwhile, Pres Buhari has commiserated with the family of Sqn Ldr Baba Ari (pictures bottom right), the other pilot that died at the final rehearsal for the 58th Independence Anniversary. .
Ari will be buried today as his family members, including his father and wife, have visited his corpse.

One of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship Dele Belgore Withdraws From Kwara Governorship Race
aspirants in Kwara State, Mohammed Dele Belgore, has stepped down.
Belgore, who was the governorship candidate of the rested Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Kwara State said he took the decision in the collective interest.
In his statement, Belgore said: “I hereby announce that I am stepping down for my brother Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazak and urge all my supporters to back his aspiration.
